Robert from North Corner Brewing Supply will host a demo of basic homebrewing techniques. The demo will cover everything you need to know to start making great beer at home. The includes: equipment, recipes, techniques, and a small beer tasting! A $5 fee will cover the cost of the event.

The demo will be held at Honey Moon at 1:00 pm on Sunday 2/19/12. The demo will last for about two hours, the length time it takes to brew a batch of beer. If you plan to go please contact North Corner to reserve your spot (tel: (360) 714-1186 email: alewine@w-link.net)

  1. Dear Home Brew Guild, I am interested in learning how to home brew. Since I have never done this before I feel that starting with Hard Cider might be best.

    questions:
1 – where can I take a one-day course in home brewing cider?
2 – should I first go to North….. Brewing store to buy an airlock and carboys?

Thank you in advance for your time. Cheers, Bryn Homsy
p.s. my maternal grandfather brewed beer in his closet, so I figure brewing is in my gene pool 😉

    • I don’t know if there are any courses in cider brewing being offered at this time. I do know of a couple that have come and gone unfortunately. If you go down to North Corner they can definitely get you started.
